HOPE Culinary Cookery and Cafe
Our Story
With 50 years of kitchen experience, I began my culinary education in Switzerland, training at French cuisines After qualifying, I joined a top 5-star hotel where real learning began, mastering and managing banquets for up to 1,000 guests. Hotel Montreax Palace, Hotel Kulm St. Moritz, Hotel Baūr Au Lac Zurich.
Later, I ran several restaurants, including one with a Michelin star and Gault & Millau recognition. I then became a Travelling Chef as well a Private Chef, Then started teaching, including at TCV ITI Selakui Vocational School.
During my travelling time in Asia, I realized that many young cooks lacked a solid foundation in culinary education. Their primary learning sources were often YouTube and TikTok, and they worked with low-quality equipment, sometimes not even having proper knives making it incredibly difficult to operate in a professional kitchen. That’s why HOPE CCC was founded, to give trainees a real culinary foundation. Through internships or Masterclasses, they gain the skills to succeed or even become Teacher themselves at HOPE CCC.
